The French & Indian War was from 1754 to 1763. It was between England and the Indians of America. The war decided on who will rule the colonies of America. England won the war and they got to rule the colonies of America. They won but it costed a lot of money for England to recoup the war.

The Stamp Act was when the British charged high taxes to the colonists for stamps. It started on March 22, 1765. The colonists were very angry about how high they were getting taxed. It stopped after the Parliament voted to repeal it on March 18 1766.

On the morning of March 5th 1770 a colonist threw a snowball at a British soldier and they got into an argument. Then, a British soldier fired a gun and that's when the Boston Massacre started. Crispus Attucks was the first one to get killed and 4 other colonists died. People say that Crispus was a hero. The Massacre ended on that late afternoon.
George Washington crosses the Delaware (1776)
The Boston Tea Party was from 7 PM to 10 PM on December 16, 1773. The colonists threw 342 tea chests in the water because they were angry at Britain for imposing "taxation without representation." They disguised as Indians so the British would think that they weren't the colonists. They threw the tea chests in Boston Harbor.
The Declaration of Independence was written on July 4th, 1776. It was written by 2 Continental Congress meetings. It was written in 4 different parts. The 4 parts are why it was written, beliefs about the government, complaints about King George the III, and Declared independence from Britain. It was signed on August 2, 1776.
General George Washington crossed the Delaware River on December 25, 1776 at 6 PM to sneak attack Trenton. It was snowing and the river had a very strong current with many icebergs, but he and his army were still able to make it across the river. They reached Trenton on December 26, 1776 at 3 AM.
