- Mao creates Chinese Communist Party

- Mao creates People Republic of China
- Mao meets with a group of men to form the Chinese Communist Party. Mao leads this group.
- Mao launches "Great Leap Forward"
- When the communists were trapped by the nationalists they found a way to escape. They march for over a year. 9 out of 10 died. This was still a success for the communists.
- Mao creates the Cultural revolution
- Mao made China into communist. He created the People's Republic of China. He had almost complete control over the country.
- Mao dies
- "The Great Leap Forward" was Mao's attempt to increase farming and industrialization in China. The farms couldn't produce enough for Mao, and the metal quality was terrible. This resulted in a famine where 18 - 43 million people died. Mao was fine.
- The Cultural Revolution was when Mao used youth to remove any opposition against him. He taught them to read by his red book, in which his teachings are in. He also had the youth torture the class enemies with black ink dunce caps, and more.
- Mao Zedong dies in 1976.
