  • Someoneis homeless and they see someone drop a credit card and then they take it. The homeless person sees that you know they have it. Do you tell the person that they have their credit card or do you let homeless person keep it?

  • Choice1: Pros: He could by food, by hotel room, invest. Become not homeless, get a job. Cons: He could by drugs, alcohol, gamble, end up in debt or even worse end up even poorer. The guy with the card loses lots of money. Choice2:Pros: The guy who loses his card doesn’t feel bad, a homeless person can’t buy drugs or do anything bad with the money. Cons: Homeless guy stays poor and hungry.Choice3: Pros: You don't mess with either of their lives Cons: poor person stays poor
  • If you are a Christian and a Jew, you would probably choose number 2, because of the 10 commandments. If you had no religion, you would do any of them, doesn’t matter. However, due to morals in life, you might do neither because the moral would be it is not for you to medal with.
  • You choose neitherbecause you are not sure if your religion’s rules are right, or your ethics are right. So, you choose neither.
  • You think that you have made the right decision because it wasn’t for you to decide whether it was right or wrong of the poor person taking the card.
