- Hello ! My name is Charles Darwin, I was born here in England in 1809. Let me introduce my wife Emma and my children. This is our house, we bought it in 1842.
- My dad always tells me to explore the garden and discover the nature by myself !
- I also studied species in the rainforest, in the indous mountains and in tropical islands.
- When I was 22 years old, I left England to travel around the world for 5 years. For example I discovered Africa, Asia and America.
- I published my travel diary 2 years after I returned home. I had the habit of publishing many books and reviews about my discoveries. One of the most famous is “On the Origin of Species”.
- My work was controversed because I understood and wrote that religion doesn’t have any link with natural evolution. Fortunately, my friends have always believed in my work and defended it.
- In fact, I understood that animal and natural evolution is caused by natural selection; which means that it's nature which chooses species that can live or can’t. So, most of the time, it’s because of some imperceptible changes. I was the first one who was thinking about it.
- Due to my work, I became famous all around the world and I changed the perception of nature. My book is the most famous one which speaks about the natural selection.
