- One sunny day, a monkey namedFred and a turtle named Pong were walking beside he riverbank. Pong saw that Fred was lonely and he asked him, "What is wrong my friend? Why are you so gloomy?" Fred replied "All the food I saved up was eaten by my siblings with nothing left for me." Pong felt bad for Fred and suddenly he had an idea, 'How about we plant our own banana trees?A friend of mine sells seed for a cheap price!"Fred said excitedly "Really? Sure let's do that now!'
- The two of them went to Pong's friend and bought two seeds for them both, then went to a grassy place and started planting. Everyday Pong watered his tree and watered Fred's too, while Fred just played around.
- After doing the same thing everyday, the trees grew and bear fruits. They were both very excited to eat the delicious bananas. Although there was one problem, Pong's tree has more fruit than Fred's tree. Fred was jealous and demanded , "Give me half of your fruits! I am the one who doesn't have anything to eat!" Pong replied with calm tone, "My friend, your tree has enough fruit for you to eat. Why take some from me?" Fred was furious! He wanted all fruits from both trees, he then planned to get Pong lost in a maze.
- The next morning, he went to Pong and asked "Pong I found some fun maze while looking for you. Do you want to check it out with me?" Pong replied, "Sure lead the way." Fred led Pong to the maze he saw and went in. When they got to the middle, Fred climbed the walls of the maze and said, "Ha! You fell into my trap! Now your fruits will be mine!"
- Pong wasn't surprised of what Fred said, in fact, he knew all along and had already put something in the fruits that would teach Fred a lesson. Fred ran as fast as he can to the tree and took all of the fruits. He then ate one of Pong's fruits, it wasn't long until he felt pain in his stomach.
- Night came and Fred is still not feeling well. He then became traumatized and realized how wrong it was to steal from someone specially when he is your friend. He also learned to be contented of what he has. After feeling well, he apologized to Pong and promised to never do it again.
