- After knowing Christopher's mother was leaving Christopher's father was stunned. His anger had gone to his head, and he was at a loss of what to do. He stayed where he was for a long time. After struggling in his heart, he rushed out to the train station. But it was still a bit late. When he arrived at the station, his wife's train had already started. He chased forward few steps, but gave up. Anger, helplessness, confusion, and despair were mixed his heart. He didn't know what to do, he didn't know if he could support the family, and he didn't know if he could take good care of Christopher, so he broke down and cried.
- After Christopher's mother arrived in England, she worked very hard every day, running around for living, lived in a very small apartment, although she was very tired after a very busy day's work, she still insisted on writing to Christopher, but no one has replied.
