- Today Vixens, we will be receiving a new coach. Also clear your schedule because this weekend our very first cheer squad retreat!
- The book stars off with Betty and Veronica and there cheer team at school with there cheer team before class started. Betty and Veronica are two high school students. The caption of their cheer team, Cheryl had a few announcements. One announcement was that their team had a new coach. The last announcement was that the team would go on a cheer retreat that weekend at a camp site.
- That weekend they were supposed to be going on the trip, there was a giant rainstorm. They went anyway. On there way there, they were almost at the campsite when all of a sudden the bus they took got drifted to the side of the road! No one was seriously hurt but the bus was in no where near good shape to continue driving. Cheryl didn't want to wait for people to come and help them so she suggested they walk to the campsite since they were almost there. Everyone thought they would be fine and started making there way to the campsite.
- Once they got to there campsite they realized two other cheer squads were there too. All squads got in there cabins and picked there bunks. Cheryl realized there cabin had a leak in it. Betty got up to get a bucket but next thing she knows the bunk collapsed! Her shoulder, neck, and back hurt but she and Veronica still go to get the bucket.
