Co-sleeping pro's and con's

- She is wonderful! She sleeps as expected, I think her co-sleeping with me works out great. It makes breast feeding her so much easier than making bottles.
- How is life with the new baby going? How is she sleeping?
- Well Karen, I personally see nothing wrong with it, I am well aware that my baby is next to me. Also, it puts me more at ease knowing I can feel and hear her breathing safely.
- Karen, let's go back to my house and chat. I have to get home to the baby!
- I understand where you are coming from. It just makes me paranoid. Some many babies get rolled on top of, or get stuck in the blankets. Sometimes we fall so deep into a sleep and don't even realize it.
- Another reason I like co-sleeping is because it helps calm the baby and keep her stress down. A baby knows their mother, and being close to her is what she needs
- Well, thank you for voicing your concern. I know what is best for my child and what works for me. I get rest when she gets rest. It works for me.
- I understand and that is your right to choose how you want her to sleep. I just still don't agree with it, Sarah. Also, if you are worrying about if she is ok at night, when beside you, are you even getting adequate rest?
