A man by the name of Sargent-Major Morris The old man starts remembers that the Sargent-Major Morris was telling him about a monkey’s paw. The Sargent tells them that the paw had a spell put on it by an old fakir. The paw can grant three wishes to three separate men. He also says that the person that had it before him wished for death. He also regrets his wishes. The old man trades the Sargent for the paw. He wishes for 200 pounds. He thinks his wish didn’t come true so he goes to sleep. The next day his son has died and the company gave him 200 pounds for compensation. Later that day the wife suggest that they wish for there son to come back to life. He eventually does it.
Resolution
KNOCK KNOCK
A few minutes later they hear knocks on the door. The wife wants to go see who its is , but the old man thinks she is crazy. The wife eventually makes it downs stair as the knocks get louder. The husband quickly looked for the paw on the floor.
KNOCK KNOCK
The husband finds the paw. The wife opens the door. The husband make the third and final wish.
The knocking stops . The husband hears a long loud wail of disappointment and misery from his wife. He goes down stairs. On the other side of the road a street lamp flickers on and off on a deserted road
