- Jack Sullivan, a foster kid and a student of Parker middle school, used to have a normal life. But 42 days ago, When he and his friend, Quint Baker were getting off the, Portals opened up in the sky and monsters were roaming everywhere. There was a Zombie Plague turning all the humans into zombies. They promised each other that they would stay in touch with walkie talkies but it broke when he was climbing into the Treehouse his foster brother owned.
- Climax
- Jack just spotted the item he needed to fix the walkie talkie when he suddenly heard a large Roar that sounded like a sort of blarg noise. He spins around and sees a huge monster glaring back at him. He quickly picks up the screwdriver and tries to dash out of the store. He tries to hit blarg but his Baseball bat shatters against blarg. His now shattered bat was called the louisville slicer. He fixes the walkie-talkie and is informed that Quint is not a zombie. Jack goes to Quints house They and gather Quints projects and important items and move them with his truck
- Falling action
- One day, the two buds were driving around in big mama when they saw the school bully, Dirk Savage Roaming the streets that were now crumbling and dirty. That's when he spotted them and Long story short, Dirk came back with them to the treehouse. A couple weeks later, they spotted June Del Toro, the newspaper editor and Jack's crush inside one of the classrooms. They go into the school and get her out of there as well welcoming a new member into the tree house. One summer morning, Everything was looking good until the big monster named blarg showed up.
- Resolution
- Jack immediately recongnized the huge monster and got to whiff the smell of evil. He told his friends that this beast and him had encountered before and blarg was probably tracking him with his scent. The gang instantly got into action. They used almost all their weapons and gadgets and nothing seemed to work. Finally, Jack slid down their emergency escape, leaped onto blargs face and jammed his louisville slicer into the monsters skull.
- After Blarg is dead, the crew fixes up the tree house from the attack, and attempt to protect their home with Quints' inventions. Everyone is happy again, and everything is back to normal. (well, as normal as a post apocalypse can get).
- The gang is safe from any danger or monsters (at least they thought ) and their tree house was untouchable (at the time). Read the other books for more adventures!
