- Miss Maudie’s house catches on fire and The neighbors help her save her furniture, and the fire truck arrives in time to stop the fire from spreading to other houses

- Atticus teaches them that mockingbirds harm no one, and all they do is make music that's why it's a sin to kill one

- Tom Robinson is a African American accused of raping a white women, Mayella Ewell
- Nov 23, 1934
- While Tom Robinson is in jail for the night a group of men come and try to lynch Tom, But thankfully Atticus blocks their way. Dill and scout talks to one of the men and they end up leaving
- Jun 1st, 1935
- Unfortunately Tom and Atticus end up losing the case. Tom gets sent off and Mayella is happy with what she had done. Its always said that in Maycomb a black man will never win over white men.
- July 23, 1934
- Scout finally understands the truth about Boo Radely, Scout realized Boo is a nice, and almost child like person. Scout has also now absorbed the lesson on mockingbirds her father has taught.
