- Bud didn't make it on the train with Bugs
- Bud had slept under a Christmas tree and when he woke up from his sleep because whatever it was that was sneaking up on him it knew that he had woken up and Bud felt like two eyes were staring at him so he got his Jackknife but when he thought that he had heard the heart he launched at it but the person that was looking at him was Bug's his friend from the home that had run away from the home and was going to go west to have a better life and get a job so they were going to go on a train to get to the west but first they were going to a place called Hooverville
- After they found Hooverville bud a bug's flipped a coin to find out who was going to go ask the people of Hooverville food but Bud was the one that the coin chose. When Bud went up to the people around the fire there were many people and kids there. Bugs said that the place looked like a card bord jungle.
- When Bud and Bugs tried to get on the train only bugs made it on the train west to the country to get a job and live over there so bud went back to the library.
