- Today we are learning about Pandora's box
- There were once two brothers Epimetheus and Prometheus. They had upset the Greek Gods they even annoyedthe most powerful god of all Zeus.
- Zues punished Humans by taking away their fire, Prometheus was cleaver though and stole fire from Hephaestus
- Zeus decided to punish the brothers further. So he sent a very beautiful and charming girl as a gift to Epimetheus. Epimetheus decided to marry her despite Prometheus warning not to except any gifts from the gods.
- Zeus sent a gift as a wedding present to Pandora and told her NEVER to open it. One day though curiosity got the best of Pandora. When she opened the box awful things such as poverty, disease, and more flew out of the box. The very last thing that flew out of the box it hope.

- It matters because this story was trying to teach the Ancient Greeks to fallow directions and to do as they are told.
- Why does this story even matter?
- But it also teaches the Ancient Greeks that in the horrors of the world, there is always hope.
