- WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL OF OUR CROPS!? How am I supposed to pay off my mortgages and the debt for the tractor I got you!?

- Boss, we have been experiencing long periods of drought from a dust storm called the "dust bowl". It has wrecked all of our crops!
- Hey Robert, long time no see. Lately, my clothing business hasn't been doing very well, mainly because we made too many products. How is your farm going?
- Well that's awful. With news I heard, it's looking like everyone is living like this. The economy is down and many people are unemployed. I don't even have enough myself to pay my employees.
- Greetings Thomas, my farm has been a disaster. As you can see, we had a "dust bowl" and it destroyed all our crops. I have mortgages and debts to pay off as well so I have not been doing well either.
- Me too. I guess lots of people have cabbage problems right now. I guess we are living in "The Great Depression".
