- Light-colored clothing easily reflects the sunlight, while dark clothes have trouble reflecting the sun's rays. Because of that, the dark-colored clothing traps the heat from the sun. This then makes you feel much hotter.

- Convection- is a way for heat to move also referred to as a heat transfer mechanism. This tranfer of heat happens when a fliud such as air or water is in motion. Convection is driven by temperature differences across that fluid.Conduction is a process by which heat energy is transmitted through collisions between neighboring atoms and molecules. Conduction occurs more readily in solids and liquids, where particles are closer together than in glasses where particles are further apart.Radiation- Radiation occurs via electromagnetic waves. Unlike conduction and convention, radiation des not need a medium for transmission. Solar radiation energy traverses 93 million mile vacuum to warn the earth. Radiation also tranfers thermal energy between bodies seperated by colder medium.
