- Prospero create a violent storm to make a shipwreck. Everyone on the ship is washed up on a island.
- Prospero and Miranda live on the island for 12 years
- Prospero set up the shipwreck, to take his traitorous brother Antonio and the king of Napoleon to the island. Ariel plays a flute to enchant Ferdinand where he sees Miranda and soon falls in love.
- Antonio tries to convince Sebastian to kill Alonso and take the throne from Napoles, but Ariel wakes up the king and Gonzalo in time.
- Miranda goes to see Ferdinand and they talk the love they felt, Prospero of his blessing to Miranda to marry Ferdinand. Ariel appears to the men as a harpy, declaring that they were brought to this island to be punished for what they did to Prospero.
- In the end Prospero feels bad for imprisoning Alonso, Antonio, Sebastian and Gonzalo. Prospero reveals his identity. Alonso asks for forgiveness. He lets everyone go back to Milan. releases Ariel from her bondage, and breaks her spell binding Caliban to him. The others prepare the boat to leave
