Well? Have you found anything? Who has killed him?
No. They all seem pretty believable.
Well I have a lead.
Clara!
How can you be sure?
I was interrogating Deborah. She is the culprit.
Here are the facts...
She claimed she was shopping at Mark's Groceries. That couldn't be true because Mark had already gone home. It closed at 8 and she said she was shopping at 9. When I pointed it out she said she had just finished shopping. I asked Deborah if there were any witnesses to back up her story. Deborah said her sister was taking her home because her license was confiscated a week ago.
She claims that her wagon broke down so that is why she wasn't home. Deborah said a wheel came off and was smashed to splinters by an other horse. I looked at the spot where the wagon broke down. There wasn't a wood chip in sight. She was at the tavern. She killed him. Deborah doesn't even have a sister. Her alibi was just pathetic. I asked her if she had any family members that I could question.
And she- you'll love this- she let it slip that her husbands name was Malum. The guy who was trying to kill all of us a while ago. He put her up to this to hurt my pride.
