- Unnamed speaker is on his way to see his old childhood friend,Rodrick Usher, after receiving a letter from him asking to vist, since he has been feeling unwell.
- she must not leave me or the house will fall apart
- Im sure it must just be our imagination .
- As unnamed speaker approches the house he starts to feel like a sinister presence coming from Usher's home.
- It's her !! Madeline is coming !!!
- While receiving his old friend,it becomes clear that Robert isn't in the right state of mind and is quite unnerved after his sister,Madeline's, death.
- Rodrick then tells speaker if he will assit him in burying the body of Madeline in the house vault so that they won't do an autopsy on her ,and so she won't leave him by himself.
- To help Rodrick clam down after everything that has been happening ,unnamed speaker deciedes to read him a story ,but soon they both start to hear strange noises which leds rodrick to believe his sister is alive and trying to escape her coffin
- Rodrick turns out to have been correct,and is killed by getting scared to death at her sight.The house thens crumbles to the ground after a fissure erupts.
