- Abraham was a shepherd that lived in Ur around 1700 BCE. Abraham made a covenant with god to go to the promise Canaan.
- we'll go back to the promise land
- After that, Jacob and his family moved and settled in Egypt because Canaan did not have the materials that they needed, when they arrived in Egypt the pharaoh was very welcoming, and still let them believe in monotheism.
- Moses was a Israelite who grew up in the Egyptian palace but was sent out of the village for killing a Egyptian that was hurting a slave. Then god told Moses to tell the new pharaoh to free the slaves so Moses follows gods commandment but the pharaoh refused to let the slaves go.
- After the Pharaoh refused to let the Israelite's go, Moses put 10 curses upon the Egyptians, then the Pharaoh let them go after the tenth curse when the angel of death came and killed the pharaohs oldest son and that was the day of the pass over.
- The ten commandments are important today because they are gods standards and if we do not listen to them or they are a sin.
- Joshua conquered Jericho with his army that he trained for 15 years, and Jericho settled in the north lands and in the south lands of what is now know as Israel.
