And you Sir, a pint and a half of lager.<GET IT TOGETHER>
<SOD OFF>There you go Dear
The scene starts seeming normal, the landlord and landlady are friendly to their customers. The first tipping point is when the Landlord tells his wife out of the corner of his mouth to "Get it together", she replies "Sod off" then talks nicely to a customer. Later in the scene she flirts with a younger customer and the Landlord tells her "don't embarrass us, you look like his grandma", She ignores him and winks at the customer - this is meant to annoy her husband.
This scene has two characters Moth and Maudie. It starts with Moth flirting with a girl saying "I'm in love with you, I'm not joking". His girlfriend Maudie comes in and he looks shocked and says "What are you doing here" looking around guiltily. Maudie says "she wasn't interested" which tells you that he has done this before and she is used to it- she doesn't get angry just resigned to him doing it. Moth then slyly gets her to buy hm a drink. While he is getting it Maudie gives herself a pep talk saying "I said this wouldn't happen again".
On his way back Moth bumps into a girl and flirts with her - referring to Maudie as his sister - pretending to be single. Maudie confronts him about flirting with other girls he says "but you know I can't stop myself". He tries to get her to buy another drink but she refuses and he starts to walk away but hurts himself and comes back to Maudie. She asks him to "make an honest woman of her" and when he refuses she walks away. Moth shouts "Will you marry me" and she comes running back. It looks like a happy ending but while Maudie is off ordering a taxi Moth goes back to his old ways saying to a girl "your beautiful" so the scene goes back to the beginning.
