When Qin Shi Huang was in his middle age. He became very afraid of dying. So in solution he ordered alchemists and doctors to make him a potion that would make him immortal.
In 215 BCE, Qin Shi Huang devised another plan, just incase the potions didn't work. He ordered that people build him a tomb full of traps.
In the end, Qin Shi Huang died in 210 BCE while touring eastern China. His death was most likely caused by mercury poisoning because of him trying to be immortal.
