- The birth of Isaac was a miracle because Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born, and his wife, Sarah was 90. Abraham already had a son named Ishmael with his wife's slave, Hagar since Sarah didn't believe she could bare children.
- After the birth of Isaac, Sarah became jealous of Hagar and her son and hated the thought of Ishmael getting the inheritance. She ordered Abraham to send them both away but the Lord comforted Abraham telling him Ishmael wasn't suppose to get the one to get the inheritance.
- God told Abraham to sacrifice his son as an offereing. Knowing that this is the Lords commandemnt, both Abraham and Isaac agreed. This was one of Gods biggest challenges to ABraham and this shows loyalty from both Isaac and Abraham. God snet an agel to tell Abraham it was all a test.
