- This scene is where Lynn saved Katie's life from a dog. They were lying on the grass and it came up and attacked them. Lynn rushed to protect her sister and chased the dog into the cornfield. Lynn loves Katie and thinks she is the best little sister in the world.

- In this scene the dog came back after Lynn has saved Katie. It attacked Lynn and Katie ran inside to get a weapon. She could only find a milk bottle and then threw it at the dog. Katie loves her sister and wants to protect her. She saw Lynn as the one who saved her life and Lynn saw Katie as the one who saved her life.
- This character is uncle Katsuhisa, he is as loud as his brother is quiet. He is a sore loser, he is screaming about losing a chess game to his niece. He has offered to help his brother and sister in-law by giving them jobs where he works. He was moving things into his car and has stopped to play a game of chess with his niece.
- In this scene the mother is afraid of her daughter falling. She has fallen and broken her leg once, due to a single stair. She is delicate and likes the quiet. She is also very protective of her daughters, hence, the be careful!
- In this scene the father is deep in thought. He is often quiet and is very thoughtful. Sometimes it takes him several weeks to make a decision. He has been compared to his brother as as quiet as hos brother is loud.
