  • Oh no! My mom is using the car. I guess we have to walk to the park now.
  • I haven't walked somewhere in a long time. It's going to take at least 30 minutes when in car it would've only been 10.
  • Actually, people in the 1800's used to either walk or use sailboats. Horses and carriages were the cars of the 1800's but the common person didn't have a carriage lying around. It was also really unsafe because they weren't safe from weather conditions and didn't have seat belts or airbag or any safety precautions in them so walking was the norm. Now days it's not often we walk somewhere but it definitely took longer to get places in the 1800's.
  • I feel like we're in the 1800's because of how everyone used to walk everywhere.
  • Transportation actually improved when Karl Benz designed and built the world's first practical automobile that was powered by an internal-combustion engine. The internal-combustion engine actually was what allowed for automobiles to be built and created. Now days automobiles are mostly all safe because they have seat belts, airbags, are more reliable, efficient, and common. Transportation really has improved and advanced so much since the 1800's. Oh look we're finally at the park!
  • Wow! I wonder when better transportation like cars and buses were invented since we are so advanced compared to the 1800's
