- I have an idea! We could turn our alcohol into hand sanitizer and sell it. We would make so much money right now.
- The hand sanitizer was great, but no one really needs it anymore.
- I wonder if we could do a to-go sort of thing but with cocktails?
- The cocktail kits were such a good idea honey!
- I know right! They have been super popular! We now call them quarantinei’s. Haha get it? Martini but at home.
- My dad came up with a way to make money from his distillery when he could not be open to the public. He used the alcohol from his spirits to make hand sanitizer and sold it to companies in need during the spread of the virus.
- The cocktail kits did really well, but sales are coming to a slow.
- I saw on the news that bars should be allowed back open soon! We need them to be brought back!
- After the demand for hand sanitizer went down he needed a new way to make money. He started making cocktails kits. These kits included his spirits, juices, garnishes, and other ingredients used to make the cocktails. These kits also came with instructions on how to make the cocktail so that customers could enjoy their drinks from home.
- We can reopen! However we have a lot of work to do before that.

- These kits were selling like crazy! People loved the fact that they could make there own drinks using his ingredients.

- The cocktail kits helped get the business by for a couple months but after a while the distillery needed to get back open again. In the spring of 2021 the distillery was allowed to reopen.
- It was hard for my dad to reopen because lots of his staff had found new jobs, the equipment hadn’t been run in a long time, and not everyone was ready to get back out to in-person dining.
- After a remodel and new marketing strategies the word of the distillery began to spread again and business has been good since!
