The scene starts with Nora being in the Christmas tree room and she seems to be very worried and this is because Krogstad controls her as she fears a mail to be sent by him to her husband Torvald, revealing her truth.
A new character, which is the nurse enters the scene and Nora's concern about Krogstad is revealed more when she suggests to get Mrs. Linde for help, but the nurse advises her not to do this because the weather is bad. However, Nora says again that she wants to go, but in reality, she wants to go outside to check the mail box, fearing Krogstand and her truth being revealed in front of her husband.
The nurse is like a mirror for Nora and she reminds her of the consequences of Nora not telling her husband the truth. This is shown when Nora asks the nurse about her children with her, as Nora doesn't spend time with her children anymore. This is because Nora starts to grow up and mature and realizes that her bad actions have consequences, and the biggest consequence is that her children learn bad things from their mom, so Nora doesn't want this to happen, so she distances herself from her children. Nora realized how it isnot equitable or fair to do this with her own children. The nurse just erased old Nora that wasvapid or had dull emotions, as now Nora really sees the importance of her children.
Oh God, I am a really bad mom, Just take me away from my children, as they don't deserve a bad mom like me
