VOLCANIC HAZARDSBEFORE, DURING & AFTER
Good day to all of you, I'm here to seminar you about the volcanic hazards
Let's start before the eruption
One moment, there is a volcanologist, his name is Dan. His mission is to raise awareness to his fellow town mates in Bicol. And so he and his colleague traveled to Bicol.
Firstly, make sure that your house is far away from the volcano. Create a First Aid Kit for the whole family. Make sure you have access to news/radio. Make sure that every member has Safe and Well wallet card. And you may talk to your insurance. Hehe
And they meet up with the people of the town near the Mayon Volcano.
During the volcanic eruption, get updates by radio, news or your phone. Follow the evacuation protocol by the barangay or municipal officials. If your outdoors, seek shelter if possible. Stay out to the restricted area. If you were caught in an ashfall, wear goggles, mask and keep your skin covered as much as possible to avoid burns
And after the eruption, let your friends and family know you're safe. Contact them. Continue to listen to the updates from the news. If you saw people injured, do 3 C's: CHECK, CALL, CARE. Avoid driving in areas with heavy ashfall. Capture photos of you houses and properties that are covered with ashfall for insurance purposes. Wear clean and protective clothes. Immediately clean up the roof of your house to avoid collapsing. And lastly. pray to God that you are still safe and good with your family.
