- This is Stanley, Stanley Yelnats the Fourth and he was walking under a bridge one day and then a pair of shoes from above the bridge hit him in the head for some strange reason Stanley starts running and then he sees the cops but he keeps running.
- Then Stanley gets sent to Camp Green Lake because they think that Stanley stole the shoes and those were no ordinary shoes they are a famous baseball players' shoes. So then Stanley starts digging holes until he could get out of there. Then he meet everybody and then zero told him a little bit after that he can't read and then eventually He agreed to help him to read.
- Then one day when they were digging holes zero got FedUp of everybody and ran away into the desert. And everybody thought he would not survive more than 3 days with no water. Stanley was scared and all he could do was hope that zero was alive and okay.
- Then a couple of weeks later he goes out into the desert and he runs away to he is hoping to find zero who is probably dead. But he headed towards the big thumb the big thumb is supposed to be a sanctuary where his grandfather went. And on his way he's, he's a little boat and he decides to walk over to it. Then he sees something moving inside the boat he looks under and he sees that it's zero. Dan Stanley asked zero how are you still alive and he says sploosh.
