- I think tomas is trustworthy because he notices things very easily and in this scene on page 167-168 they were looking for a water source and cia questioned tomas about something because cia was suspicious about something and he answered very calmly and he said they know we need water. It only makes sense that they've added some water sources out here in order to keep us alive otherwise none of us would pass the damn test. then where would they be?

- this shows tomas if trustworthy because in multiple different scenes in the book, like this on he could have hurt or even killed cia, he has had so many opportunities to do so, even if he is using cia to get closer and closer to win even if she is dead at the time he could possibly be helping her get to the end and win with him.
- this shows tomas is trustworthy because when they met up and cia thought there would be three other people meeting up there but tomas never told them to meet up because he wanted her to be safe and not get hurt if either of those 3 people turning their backs on them and either kills them or harms them in any way shape or form.
