- After the Battle of Troy, Odysseus was trying to return to Ithica. After not dueing their respect to the gods, Odysseus' comrades got shipwrecked along with him, most but him died. Odysseus got trapped on an island where he could get anything he wants, but could never leave.
- After Odysseus meets his son and first walks into his home after 20 years...

- After 10 years, Athena utilized the time when Posiedon was away to let the gods let Odysseus go. Successful, Athena left to go warn Odysseus of his perilous journey, and with her help, he gets through his perilous journey.
- On Odysseus' last island on his journey before Ithica, he meets a shepherd. Odysseus knows it's Athena and tells not one word in truth when the shepherd asked what journey he was on.
- When Odysseus goes home, he sees his long-lost dog Argos that he bred right before he left. The dog and Odysseus know each other alike, but fearing discovery, he has to walk by Argos. With a tear in Odysseus' eye, Argos died right there on his own bed after finally seeing his owner.
- After his encounter with Argos, Penelope sets up a competition for the suitors to see who would finally marry her. She finds one of Odysseus' bows and challenges each suitor to shoot an arrow through 12 golden rings. All fail, even his son Telemachus fails because his father tells him to. When all failed, Odysseus took the bow and started killing them. With nowhere to go and no weapons to fight back with, Odysseus and Athena wiped out the entire place of suitors. But sparring the bard, thought to be taught by the gods themselves.
- After being woken by a maid, Penelope is informed that Odysseus has returned. Skeptical about the news, she walks into the room that Odysseus is in, and then Odysseus shows her his scar. As Penelope's hopes and prayers have been answered, everyone feels a sense of happiness for Odysseus, as he can now finally relax in his home.
