Here I am. In New Hampshire. There's History all around, and different cultures everywhere. But let's start at the begining.
Here we are, at the start. Food. In order to eat, they decided to trade food with the Native Americans. And they did at first, until the Native Americans taught the women how to cook multiple meals with corn. The men also hunted animals like rabbits and deer which quickly became a large part of their diet.
And as far as clothes go, women had to wear floor length dresses with aprons while men wore clothes more on the formal side, ties and fancy shoes and such. Children just wore pants and shirts if they were boys, and dresses and skirts if they were girls.
.
Religion was also a large part of their lives. They tried to live good, long lives based on their beliefs. They had their children read the bible front to back many times.
Seeing as everyone had to sign this contract, they decided to have it be a pledge of their loyality. So, they all pledged their loyality at cape cod.
As for the government in New Hampshire, it was quite unlike this one. They all had to sign something called the Mayflower compact they showed that they had to obey any rules that were created, even though they were still under the king.
