- Mae, Jesse, Miles, and Angus meet up again after running from a weird man who knows about their secret. They're all so happy to see each other.
- The Tuck family can live forever and never die!
- Jesse witnesses, and then stops her from taking a sip from the water. He starts to think she knows about the water and takes her to his house.
- This is Winnie Foster who has run away from him and came across the stream of water that made the Tuck family immortalized.
- Winnie was kidnapped by his family but they were very good to her, and were only worried about their secret being revealed during such times.
- Winnie and Jesse had fallen in love during their time together. Jesse is immortal and Winnie would have to get back home. This meaning they couldn't really be together.
- When Jesse had to let Winnie go back home, he gave her a little bottle of the water from the spring. He told her that when she turned 17, to drink from it and they'd be able to be together.
- The main idea is you don't want to live forever because in the end you are stuck while the people you love, die and move on. Also causing you to have to run away because your appearance stays the same.
- It is shown here that Winnie in fact never drank the water because here lies her gravestone.
