- During cellular respiration
- as these two workout, they inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide goes up into the air, out the arena and into the atmosphere.
- What happens to the plants
- The carbon dioxide from me and Kobe after working out is breathed in by plants in a process called photosynthesis. as the carbon dioxide arrives there is a process called cellular respiration that happens
- during this process there is the powerhouse of the cell, the mitochondria. The mitochondria plays an important part in cellular respiration, through the production of ATP using energy found in glucose and other things,
- during this process the plants breath in the carbon dioxide and take in light energy from the sun. The glucose, light energy and the water all mix inside the chloroplast. The light energy is also used in fermentation to convert water and carbon dioxide into sugars and fermentation releases energy from food by the production of ATP
- at the end the most of the oxygen is released out into the atmosphere through the stomata in the plants leaves, and then this oxygen is breathed in by living organisms.
