- Advent is a time of waiting. It is were you wait for the good things to come, for example, like Jesus. We wait for Jesus with the color purple.
- Christmas is a time of celebration. This is when Jesus was born. We celebrate this with the color white.
- Easter Sunday is a time for celebration for Christ's resurrection. The colors for this day is purple. A symbol for today is a tomb where Jesus got out from.
- Lent is a time for fasting. Fasting is where you give up something for the Lord. Jesus gave up food for 40 days (not water). The colors for this season is purple. Jesus also got tempted by the devil.
- Easter Friday is a day of sacrifice because Jesus sacrificed his own life for our sins. The color that priests wear is either black or purple. There is a very important symbol on Easter Sunday and it is the Cross.
- Pentecost is a day were the disciples of Jesus got the Holy Spirt in them. The color for this is event is red. Another important symbol is the tongues of fire that appeared over their head.
