- The main character in thsi story is Mrs. Stevenson, she is an old woman who cannot leave her room. She is worried because her husband is not at home, and decides to call his office.

- Mrs. Stevenson hears a call where two men are planning a murder. She wants to stop the murderers before they commit the crime and kill an inocent.

- Mrs. Stevenson tried to call many people so that they could help her with this situation and be able to stop the murderers.
- The story occured when Mrs. Stevenson heard someone enter the house while she was on the phone with the hospital.
- The man in her house killed her with the plan she overheard on the phone. The plan was about her. The murderer who killed Mrs. Stevenson took the cell phone and said ''Sorry, the wrong number'' to the person on the other line of the phone.
