- Polonius Ophelia and Claudius were talking to Hamlet due to his erratic behavior, leading to Ophelia hiding from Claudius. Polonius states that Hamlet is acting crazy because of Ophelia Ophelia thinks he's going crazy because she was trying to give a letter back to him.
- Act lll Scene 4
- He'll come right away.Make sure you lay into him.Tell him his pranks have caused too much trouble,and that Your Highness.....
- Dont worry Ill do what you say Now hide I hear him coming
- When Claudius saw the play he instantly felt guilty and stood up and wanted to leave. He felt guilty because Hamlet based the play on Claudius poisoning his father.
- Act lll Scene 4
- Hey! Help,help,Help!
- What;s this rat? Ill bet a buck hes a dead rat now.
- During this scene, Claudius is repenting for his sins because he feels guilty. Hamlet catches him and tries to kill him. However, he changed his mind. He realizes if he kills him he will go to heaven because he's repenting for his sins.
- Act lll Scene 4
- Oh my God what have you done?
- I dont know is it the King?
- In this scene, Polonius is talking to Gertrude asking her to speak to Hamlet about the play and to tell him to stop acting crazy. She then tells Polonius to go hide before Hamlet comes.
- Gertude thinks that Hamlet is going to kill her. Polonius starts to scream for help which makes Hamlet think there's a rat listening behind the curtain, so he stabs the sword through it and kills Polonius.
- From behind the curtain, Poloniius says he's been killed then Gertude asks Hamlet what he has done. Hamlet then explains that it was an accident and he didn't know who was behind the curtain.
- Oh Ive been killed!
