- The people’s boat got drifted by the wind in a different direction than where they wanted to go. They landed on land with strangers and survived the crash from their ship. They got trapped in a cave with a cyclops and saw it eating a human and waited to fight it during the day instead of not being able to seeing it at night.
- Zeus and the gods have had revenge on you.'
- The cyclops kept eating Odysseus’s men and made his flock leave the cave. Odysseus made a plan and took a club and sharpness it to cut some of it to give to his men so he could get revenge on the cyclops. When the cyclops came back with his flock and went deep in the came and Odysseus gave the cyclops wine.
- The cyclops got drunk and passed out from the wine. The people stabbed him in the eye to kill him. When the cyclops woke up and screamed for his people and when they came he said that nobody was trying to kill him.
- The people escape by tying them under the sheep. Odysseus then mocks the cyclops when he was leaving.
