- Hi my name is Celly. I'm going to being showing you how Corona virus vaccine works. Right now the nurse, Avery, is giving Kevin the vaccine. Let's look at it closer.

- First the mRNA is given to Kevin through the needle.
- The vaccine takes on the role of the nucleus through the process of transcription. Naturally the nucleus of a cell makes the mRNA but in this situation the vaccine makes the mRNA. Once the mRNA is made, the mRNA goes to the ribosome in the cell.
- Ribosome
- The mRNA goes to the Ribosome. This is where the process of translation occurs. The ribosome then makes the spike proteins. These spike proteins are the same proteins that can be found on Corona Virus.
- Spike protein.
- A cell then takes the new spike protein around the system. The system then learns how to fight against it later on. The system then makes antibodies that will attach to the spikes on the Corona Virus.
- The antibodies attach to the spike proteins on Corona Virus to prevent them from infecting other cells. Then the virus is destroyed.
