- Lennie touches the girls red dress, because he likes soft things. This gets him in trouble and they have to leave weed.
- Lennie kills the pup
- Why'd you got to die? Now George will never let me tend the rabbits.
- Lennie wants ketchup with his beans. George says that he would give him some, but they don't have any.
- Lennie kills Curley's wife
- I didn't mean to.
- Curley's wife comes in looking for Curley, but is very flirtatious with the men. Curley gets mad at the men when their around his wife, so they try to keep their distance.
- George shoots Lennie
- I thought you were gonna be mad George.
- Lennie kills the pup, and is now afraid that George won't let him tend the rabbits when they get a place of their own.
- Lennie was feeling Curley's wife's hair, then he broke her neck and killed her.
- George shoots Lennie because Candy said that he wishes that he shot his own dog. Also Lennie keeps killing and hurting animals and people.
