Heading home from there 10 yr war with Troy, Odysseus and his men encounter many adventures, including the island of the cyclops, where they meet Polyphemus.
Curious
We should eat
Odysseus has many different character traits, one being his ability to think quick (lightbulb, brain), he's also curious (smiley face), and in the beginning of his adventures, quite prideful (lion).
Pride
HAHA, stupid cyclops, for No Man has not forsaken you, but I, Odysseus.
One example of Odysseus's cleverness is when he offered Polyphemus, the cyclops, a drink and saying his name was No Man when Polyphemus asked.
Odysseus, a Good or Bad Leader
Odysseus's curiosity can get him into trouble. If he wasn't so curious i doubt he woulde've even gotten of at that island, much less go into a random cave.
In this story, Odysseus is younger and less knowledgeable, so he shouts his name out to the giant as he's leaving the island. Now if he wasn't so prideful, he wouldn't have done that, he wanted credit for his work. This does cause quite a few issues later.
Though Odysseus has his flaws, he's not a bad leader. He may get into some trouble quickly, but he tends to get out of it just as fast.
I am a good leader
