2500 years ago you would have a cleandros walk you to school. You'd walk through markets in the agora. In the market was a man with a rope painted in red. People would run around trying to avoid it. They did that so that the people who don't want to go to the assembly get marked in red, so if they try to join the assembly they can't join. They get fined.
Back 2500 years ago an agora would be used to hold an assembly. The agora is a big wide open space. The agora has markets inside of it.
