In the introduction, Connie finds out that her grandmother is visiting her. Her parents make her bring Abuela to Church. Connie is very annoyed by this and does not want to be around her grandmother. Connie treats her very rudely.
Introduction/Exposition
In the rising action, Connie takes Abuela to church. She gets annoyed when her grandma chooses a pew that she has to walk across the church to get to. Connie is embarrased to be seen with her grandma.
Rising Action
Climax
In the climax, Abuela goes up to get communion at church, and gets lost. She can't find her way back to the pew. Connie is so embarrased that she doesn't do anything or try to help her.
In the falling action, Abuela is angry with Connie. She ignores her in the car and yells at her once she gets home. She says that Connie make her feel like a zero, or nothing.

Conclusion/Resolution
In the conclusion, Connie's mother talks to her and sends Connie to her room. Connie thinks about how she made Abuela feel and how she has not been treating others kindly.
