- One night, a little cell stayed up past its bedtime, thinking until it started wondering; "Where did I come from?" He called his friends Robert Hooke and Robert Brown in and asked them.
- Where do I come from?
- How should I know? I, Robert Hooke, only identified cells.
- And I, Robert Brown, only discovered the nucleus; where your genetic information and control center is.
- Oh, you must be a cell! I, Matthias Schleiden, can't tell you where you came from. But, I can tell you that many of you can make up a plant!
- Excuse me, do you know where I come from?
- Alas, I, Theodor Schwann, also do not know where you are from. I can tell you that you can also make up an animal, depending on what kind of cell you are!

You are the basic unit of life , kid.
