Girl, what do you know about the forms of communications
Well... For starters there are two forms: verbal and non-verbal
Are these forms so different from each other?
They are different but we use them everyday sometimes without even realizing
Verbal communication is oral and written language. Typically, humans communicate by speaking or writing. However, reading and listening are also forms of verbal communication.
AWWWWHH... That's proxemics at play! We can tell they are in love. Look how close he is to her!
Other forms of non-verbal communication include vocalics or paralanguage which is the use of volume, tone, rate, pitch. There is also artifacts. These are items, such as jewelry, clothing which can tell a lot about a person. The way a person uses time, or chronemics, can communicate attitude or status. Body language such as gestures and facial expression are also important.
Thank you so much for the walk and the clarification. Now I must work on my vocalics and proxemics as I explain to mom where I have been so long!
I'm sure you will think of something...
