In the city of Verona, two wealthy families, the Montagues and the Capulets, had another fight. The Prince and the townspeople have had enough of the constant fighting, so the Prince declares that whoever breaks the peace next shall be murdered.
Act 4
A Capulet celebration is gatecrashed by Romeo Montague and his companions when Romeo meets Juliet Capulet. He falls head over heels in love with her right away. Due to their feuding families, they are horrified to learn that they are sworn, enemies. Romeo and Juliet are married to Friar Laurence.
Act 5
Romeo travels to Mercutio and Benvolio's house to celebrate his marriage, but he gets into a confrontation with Juliet's cousin, Tybalt. Mercutio is killed by Tybalt, and Romeo seeks vengeance by killing Tybalt. Romeo is banned by the Prince because he murdered Tybalt. Both Romeo and Juliet have broken hearts.
Act 6
Juliet's father, Capulet, believes that she should marry Paris. Juliet refuses and travels to Friar Laurence, where they devise a plan to reunite Romeo and Juliet.

Juliet pretends to die and lays in a tomb, waiting for Romeo to arrive so they can flee together. Because Romeo does not hear the message regarding the plot, he believes Juliet has perished. He travels to Verona and finds Juliet 'dead' in her grave.

Romeo drinks poison in order to die with Juliet. She wakes up to find Romeo is no longer alive. Juliet uses his dagger to kill herself. The Montague and Capulet families swear they will never fight again.
