- My heart was racing as the papers flew everywhere. I knew Papa George heard that bang. Anyone could. When he comes in he will be so furious and disappointed in meI thumping on the floor coming towards us. The floor boards vibrating, feeling Papa George's anger. I take one large deep breath and get prepared for what will happen.
- He stared at me silently, eyes wide open. No words came out of his mouth. The angry silence was killing me. It felt like a decade before he said, "What have you done!?!?""We, um, we we, we were just looking for um, my homework!" I replied feeling hopeless
- "You little brat! Get out right this instant and never go near my house or daughter ever again!" Papa George screeched at Hugo. "Papa George please, we were only trying to help!" I tried my best to fight back but my voice was beginning to break. "Don't even try Isabel. Go straight up to your room and don't come out until I say" he replied harshly. "Oh George, it's ok they wer-""NOW!" he yelled once again.I hurried out of the room my heart racing and tears streaming our of my eyes. "Sorry" I whispered to Hugo on my way out. I sat up in my room watching life go on outside my window. Inspecting everything and everyone who walked past the house feeling sorry for myself and for Hugo. Especially for Hugo. The tears came pouring out once again. But before I knew it I had fallen asleep.
