- Sergeant Morris came to see the White family. He came to see how Mr. White was doing.

- Mr.White let Sergeant Morris in to talk and have dinner. Mr. White realized that Sergeant Morris was hold a monkey paw. They asked him what he had and what it does. Sergant Morris got it while he was on a mission.
- FALLING ACTION
- Hebert is back!
- Herbert told Mr. White to wish for money. Mr. whit wished for it but Herbert died. Mrs. White was very sad. Then Sergant Morris left then Mr and Mrs White went to bed.
- CONCLUSION
- Mrs. White had the idea of wishing Herbert back. Mrs. Whie did not know that he could have the cause of something wrong. Mr whie relized it when he statred to see a shadow.
- I wish for Herbert to come back.
- Mr. White made his last wish for Herbert to back to the cemetery. Mrs. white was happy was when Herbert knocked on the door.
