Do you want to hear what I learned about HEAT TRANSFER?
Sure, it already sounds pretty interesting!
There are 3 types. The first is CONDUCTION where heat energy travels from a hotter to a cooler object/part. This happens when mom cooks food on the stove. The pot is directly heated by the fire to cook our food.
The second type of heat transfer is CONVECTION where liquid or gas particles are heated, the heated particles rise and cooler particles take their place. This happens when mommy bakes her crunchy and mouthwatering pastries in the oven.
And finally RADIATION is when heat travels as waves from a source to warm another object. This type of heat transfer is used in the home whenever we warm our food in the microwave.
I hope you learned something new and interesting from what I just explained.
Oh yeah! There are 3 types of Heat Transfer- conduction, convection and radiation.
