- Proposition
- I hereby propose the law that states that flatulation, also known as cutting the cheese, will be banned and prohibited in public and only allowed in designated "toot zones"
- The Debate
- This bill is outstanding!!!!! We should approve there is nothing wrong!!
- The Vote
- Here our journey starts in the House of Representatives. Anthony, our main representative, introduces his bill.
- Senate
- Next, the Committee in the HOR will debate the bill.
- Revision
- How big should the zones be? Where should they be? Should this apply in schools?
- For the final step in the HOR, the committee will vote on the bill. If gained majority, then it will be sent to Senate to go through the same process. The bill can either be killed, passed, changed, replaced, or pigeonholed.
- The President
- This bill is absolutely incredible!! I have no choice but to make this an official law !
- The bill goes back through the same process in the Senate. If voted yes, then it will be revised and edited If voted no, then the bill will be rejected. A filibuster and cloture can also occur in the Senate, but not in the house.
- This law is amazing!
- The bill is now revised so that both versions from the HOR and the Senate are the same. They also ensure that the best possible version of this bill is created and ready to be sent to the president.
- After the bill is passed and revised, it is sent to the president. From here, he can veto it, sign it, sent it back to congress, do nothing, or pocket veto it. If the president vetoes it, then congress can refute this with a 3/4 majority vote.
