- Josh and his twin brother, Jordan Bell are 7th grade basketball players. They are the sons of former baseball star, Chuck "Da Man" Bell.

- Jordan, made a bet to Josh, resulting in cutting off Josh's locks (hair). Then, Jordan meets a very pretty girl, Alexis and they start dating. Which makes Josh jealous and the third wheel. Meanwhile, their dad, is having trouble with his health.
- I'm funny too...
- So are you!
- Rising Action
- No! Don't!
- The tipping point for Josh happens when his jealousy takes over him, and causes him to jam a ball in his brother's face. Then, his brother gets hurt.
- Climax
- Chuck's health problem caused his death during a heart attack before Josh's big basketball game.
- Falling Action
- Resolution
- It's going to be okay.
- Josh goes to shoot hoops feeling closest to his father. Jordan comes along and they both reconcile.
- The theme of the story is that family is forever. Even if they aren't physically there with you, they will forever remain with you.
